I have been so busy lately. To sum it up...
- I got a new bike as you can see from the picture. I have only gotten to ride it once because...
- I moved into a new apartment! It is soo much nicer than my old one. I guess we will see how much nicer it is when it hits winter and I receive my first heating bill... 260 bucks for one month in my last place was INSANE. I am still moving stuff around but everything is moved in and the cable is hooked up.
Shoot... I have to get back to work. I will write more later!

360 took a crap...
I am upset right about now. My Xbox 360 decided to take a crap today and put out the "Ring of Death". There has been a lot about it and good thing is, Microsoft extended the warranty to cover this to 3 years. I called support today and they are sending me a box to send it back in and get it repaired. I am still kinda pissed cause I want to play Madden 08 some more, but I guess I am happy I don't have to pay for repairs to it.
Other than that, not too much new. Just been working and working out. I have b-ball tomorrow night. I will be in Iron Mountain this weekend because we have the company picnic. That will be some fun I think. I am going to miss Teija tho since I won't get to see her for two weeks now (I miss her already).
But that is all for now. Maybe more tomorrow since I am tired from waiting on the damn phone for support.

New (really good) Rascal Flatts song...
There’s a place in your heart, nobody's been,
Take me there.
Things nobody knows,
Not even your friends,
Take me there.
Tell me bout your momma, your daddy, your hometown,
Show me around,
I want to see it all, don't leave anything out
I want to know, everything about you then.
And I want to go, down every road you've been.
Where your hopes and dreams, and wishes live,
Where you keep the rest of your life hid,
I want to know the girl behind that pretty stare,
Take me there.
Your first real kiss, your first true love,
You were scared.
Show me where,
You learned about life, spent your summer nights, without a care.
I want to roll down main street, the back roads,
Like you did when you were a kid,
What made you who you are,
Tell me what your story is.
I want to know, everything about you.
And I want to go, down every road you've been.
Where your hopes and dreams, and wishes live,
Where you keep the rest of your life hid,
I want to know the girl behind that pretty stare
Take me there.
I want to know, everything about you.
Yeah, everything about you baby.
I want to go, down every road you've been.
Where your hopes and dreams and wishes live,
Where you keep the rest of your life hid,
I want to know the girl behind that pretty stare.
Take me, take me, take me there.

McLovin, a 25 year old organ donor from Hawaii...
I am up in Houghton at the guy's house, by myself. I am going golfing in about one hour or so to kill some time. Teija is at work. We just got out of Superbad about 2 hours ago. It was a pretty good movie, some really funny parts, lots of sex jokes and tons and tons of penis references, including about 5 minutes of showing drawings of penises.
What have I been up to this weekend? I got here on Friday at about 7 PM and I went straight to Teija's apartment. She was all dressed up and ready to go (she looked pretty amazing by the way :)). We went to a party she got invited to by some of her friends at work. I recognized a few of them from when I was in the dorms up here at Tech. It was fun. I played some beer pong and won two games before losing the third by one cup. Put up a good showing. We stayed till about midnight and then came back and went to bed.
Saturday, we woke up pretty early because her dad called to go out to lunch. He came over with his wife Cindy and I got to meet both of them. They are really nice. We went out to lunch with them and Teija's grandparents and two brothers. It was a good time and I think it went really well. I am glad for that too because I know how they felt about her last boyfriend. I want her family to like me at least.
After lunch, she had to get to work so I went over to the guy's house again. Katie was here cleaning some stuff up so she got her stuff together and we went to her apartment. When we got there, we met up with Christina and her dad who were moving things in.
I hung out there for about an hour and then went to the course for some golf. I tell you what, golfing by yourself can be a really good time. It is relaxing when you don't have anyone pushing you are holding you up. You can go at your own pace and just play. I got 9 holes in about an hour done. Played well but didn't keep score. It was really fun.
After golf, I called Katie back up and we went out to dinner with Christina and her dad at the Library. He also payed for all of us which was really nice. Katie and I then came back to the house and watched 300 and Redline. 300 was excellent, Redline was really really bad. I didn't finish it before Teija called (she saved me from any more time with that bad movie). I went back to her apartment for the night.
Today, Teija's dad stopped by to see her before he left to go back. They brought her stuff for the apartment. We went to the movie after that and now here I am.
Well, that is my weekend :)

Checked out the new apartment
Didn't do a whole heck of a lot yesterday. After work, I went to check out that apartment. The guy forgot that he was going to show it to me and I had to call him to remind him after sitting there about 20 mins. He felt bad but I told him it was ok, but he kept saying "No, it's not". Kinda strange. But the apartment is nice, however, I guess there are two people who called before me so they have dibs. I am not going to get my hopes up but maybe I will get lucky. Amy's apartment is right across the hall. While I was waiting for the guy, her new boyfriend came down (he was leaving to go somewhere while I was in my car) and I talked to him for a short time. Nice guy.
After that, I debated if I wanted to hit the gym. I decided it would be a good idea since I won't get to today. I went for about an hour and a half trying to fight the pain in my whole body (sore from the previous 3 days). It still felt good and I felt better that I went. I got home and just vegged the rest of the night and packed for today.
I am off to Houghton after work. I guess the guys are gone so I will have to hang with the girls (surprise, surprise... at Michigan Tech none the less). I can't wait to see Teija tonight :)

Back into the swing of things...
Yesterday was fairly uneventful. I went into work at 5 AM since we are so damn busy. But that is a good thing, right? I put in 11 hours...
After work, I headed off to basketball. I played well for being off for two weeks. I missed a few jump shots but made some nice ones too, including one game winner with the score tied at 6. Usually I don't take that shot since I usually don't have the ball/s with the game on the line (literally and figuratively). It felt good to run again.
After b-ball, I ate some dinner and talked to Teija for a bit on the phone. The rest of the night consisted of a heavy dose of Madden 08. I continued with Brady Quinn. Didn't play very well in the preseason games (played 3 last night since they don't take very long, it simulates the game when you aren't in) and Braylon Edwards is hurt so that doesn't help.
Went to bed around 9:30 and came into work for 5 again this morning.
I am going to check out that new apt after work today and then I will probably go to the gym for some very light lifting and some cardio (I am sore in the muscles I lifted on Monday and Tuesday). I will pack my clothes for Houghton after that and probably play Madden before going to bed. W

It has been about a year now...
A lot has happened in a year. I will try to cover all of it but I may miss a couple key things here and there.
First off, talking about the last post I made one year ago. I am still living in the same place and I still have the same job. However, I am currently in the process of finding a new place, for various reasons. Sometime in the winter months, my apartment flooded with a good inch or so of water through the whole place. A pipe froze and broke just above my sink. I was out of my place for a good two weeks before everything got fixed, but it seems to still have that almost damp feel to it. Next reason is I want a garage. I bought a new car back in April so I want to be able to store it in there and not keep it outside. It is a 2007 Black Dodge Charger (for the car people: RT AWD 340 HP, 390 ft/lb torque... it goes). I am going to check out the apartment tomorrow after work. We will see how it goes. One nice thing is I will be near my good friend Amy so maybe I will see her more often than I do (we work different shifts at work so it is hard).
I have the same job as before, only it really picked up and I have been REALLY busy. I no longer have the window seat since the whole office got rearranged. I am also in a new group working for different customers, which is good and bad. Good cause it gives me more experience, bad because I have to relearn all the ins and outs of what they want. But I still like my job.
I also started at a new gym which is about a half mile away or so. I have been taking my bike. The gym is a bit bigger and has AC for the hot summer days, which is really nice. I just have a month pass now but maybe get a year. It costs about 100 bucks more than my old gym per year but we will see.
What else? Oh yes, the girl. I meet a girl in Houghton about 3.5 months ago. Her name is Teija. She is pretty amazing. So far, everything has been going really well. She stayed with me last week and I took a couple days off. We went to my cousin's wedding (which was really really nice aka EXPENSIVE). They had about 425 people there. I have been traveling most weekends up to Houghton to see her.
Other things of note: Brandon and I went to Las Vegas a couple months ago. It was a lot of fun and I recommend it to anyone even if you don't gamble (I am not a fan of gambling, I think I lost 20 bucks in slots). I had a blast out there with some of the friends we met in London during the summer.
What do I do in my spare time? Travel to Houghton, hang out with Teija, hang out with Tech friends (when she works, and when she is around sometimes), go golfing with Brandon and Randy, go to the gym during the week, Basketball on Wednesdays, and pretty much just hang out around my apt. I went and bought Madden 08 for the 360 yesterday so I think I may have just found a really really good time killer. I played a bit and it is really really fun. I started a Superstar with Brady Quinn (you can now start superstar with any of the rookies).
I can't think of anything else at the moment and I need to get back to work so I will post again soon.

Back
Due to popular demand, I will be posting on this thing again. Not now cause my wireless keyboard is dying and I am tired. Tomorrow... I will do it! Stay tuned!
